1982 Patterson Long

Original Owner - '82 Patterson

I purchased this still new 1982 Patterson frame at my local bike shop in 1984.  I spent most of 1984 and 1985 buying parts as funds would allow.  It is still basically the same bike today - original chrome, Araya 48s with Suzue hubs and GT tires, Takagi 180mm cranks with Tuf Neck power disc and Victor Bear Claw pedals, dk stem, A'me grips, Viscount dyno seat, Dia-Compe MX brakes, dirt skirt and bottom bracket boot.  The handlebars in the picture are new GHP bars, which have recently been replaced with era correct GT Pro bars.  The frame stickers are reproductions.
