i remember this and will never forget, i was ready to drive 2hrs to pick it up. i did talked to him last year, he was asking $2000. but he said, someone is buying it already. but if he said he bought it yesterday then probably the winner from last year decide to sell it yesterday. i wonder why and how much ...hmm

and i remember , i even ask him this . "are you sure this thing is not converted from 20 inch to 24 inch. just making sure because its a 4hrs trip"... he answer me , nope , still have the original chrome. i will call you if it still available.

Like I said before, I was in the right place and right time to make a deal. I bought the bike from the same guy who was trying to sell last year. Not sure why he didn't want to do a deal last year.
I have known the seller for about 20 years. I had cash in hand. We both had the same price in mind. I carried the bike(s) away in my truck without him having to ship to a stranger.
Kerwin, not sure what happened with your deal. I guess misunderstandings between buyer and seller.

My friends and I have often wondered what happened to Eddie's Skyway. It just so happened that when I ran into the seller, he was riding a ESP(Eddie Sigmund Products) bike. We started talking about what bikes Eddie used to race and one thing led to another. Next day, I was taking home the TA.
Just like trhat. I wasn't actively seeking the TA, but when I found it, I had to have it.

Re: Skyway TA Cruiser Score with Graphite Tuffs

I was talking to Rod Miles last night. He said something like that frame is number 5 but don`t quote me on that. Rodney would know more about 24" Skyways than most of us.

congrats !!! you are so so ... lucky ! post some pictures when you are done building it. anyway, my wife said trade my 2007 mx-5 for it if i really want it and not to spend thousands $$$$ for it. i said " let me think about... will i get a newer one mx-5 ??? " LOL !!!
