1996 GT Pro Series 24

Admin Note: 11-95 build, sold as a 1996 model.

Completed build Nov-2007

I bought this frame at a mom & pop shop in Paramount, Ca. back in 2000. The man was reluctant to sell it to me because he thought the frame was faulty due to the chrome flackeing off. I new that was not a big deal. He gave me a great price & it was mine. I've been working on it sice then off & on, it will soon be finished. I am useing only GT parts and relative companies like Robinson etc..
Nov-2007 finally completed the Build..Rides like a Dream, better than I thought.
UPDATE! 2010
Added some Schwinn Maximizers & Pads..I think it looks "secksi"
What do you think please comment, & thanks for looking :)
More details w/specs soon to come soon!

Re: 1996 GT Pro Series 24

I just replaced my worn torn old kenda tires. i think I put over 1000 miles on them easy.
So I replaced them with some yellow 24" Schwinn Maximizer tires.  they stand out alot better I think. WHAT DO YOU THINK? Anyone have any info on the history or info on theses kind of tires.
I also am interested on the approriate decals for my frame. I would like the original or reprop for that build.
If someone can point me in the right direction or suggest someone i can hit-up about that I would greatly appreciate it. Thnx

Re: 1996 GT Pro Series 24

The yellow tires look great. I love the color scheme. The decals could be hard to come by. I have found that alot of people are doing their own decals with scans. Looks like a fun one to ride anyway!

Let's face it, after a long day, sometimes all you want to do is flop down on the couch, flip on the TV, and chow down on an easy-to-eat dinner.

Re: 1996 GT Pro Series 24

Those decals are hard to find.  I picked up a partial set here last year...

Looks great. If you ever found stickers let me know where.
