Rims painted by a friend who works in the paintbusiness.  Rims laced by another friend who has a bikeshop.

Re: 1983 Shimano

Frame is NOT SHIMANO. SHIMANO NEVER BUILT FRAMES that would have been a CONFLICT OF INTEREST FOR THE COMPANY.

I was on the SHIMANO  Factory Pro Team,in late '70's early '80's

Re: 1983 Shimano

Hey Spartacus - Yep! they are all Tange made frames. (Hot Heart looptail, Shimano5000, Rhino Axeblade, Hot Heart's with Kuwa & giant dropouts) big_smile

Not planning on building them all...will sell a few to fund the builds of the rest.

Your serial number: T3E2059

T = Tange
3 = 1983
E = May
2059 = production number of that month (most likely 2nd lot, number 059)

Hey Brindle - Sweet Araya 7C mate!
