Re: 1991 Haro Master

AWESOME!!! I did mine up like a custom white 88, just wanted something to ride without rear platforms or fold down front pegs. I love it.
I think your bike is a 92 like mine. The 91's had rear screw in peg mounts on the frame.
SUPER JOB! Well done. D.

Re: 1991 Haro Master

thanks all,

yes rims are araya super 7x's, it had a very poor paint job when i got it so i powdered it white and did it like an 85,

yeah it looks like a 92 as it does'nt have peg bosses but the serial starts with 91

peace,
rob

Re: 1991 Haro Master

Re: 1991 Haro Master

Hi guys....
For a long time I am searching the geometry specifications about this frame and there is nothing posted in internet.
I just had one of this frames and it was the best I even rode, I regret a lot having sold this frame and today it's impossible to find it again because it was stolen from the last owner.
Today I live in a town where we have one of two best brazilian frames factory, and the one wich builds cromoly frames, the other just made they in steel.
I am planning to build a new custom frame with this guy who is the owner of this factory, he does any customization people asks him for a very affordable price.
I really want to ride haro ground 91/92 again but I need all the actual "technology"as integrated headset, mid bottom bracket, butted tubes, etc, etc...
If I had my old 91 ground it would be easy, but I have no reference about the geometry of this frame.
So, I ask you guys who own a ground frame if possible to check all measures and geometry, I think this page can help any volunteer in this job:
http://www.justgobmx.com/bike%20tips.htm
So, i thank all you guys in advance, thanks for any possible help.

P.S: I still own a first gen S&M Sabbath frame and if I am not wrong the geometry from Ground and Sabbath are very coincident, with some exceptions (seat tube angle and chainstay lenght), but I think it's possible to use my Sabbath as a reference, if anyone can compare a Sabbath and a Ground side by side and tell me the differences in measurements it will be very easy to build my new frame too.

Thanks again.

Re: 1991 Haro Master

Hi downhillmania, thanks for answer.... but for me is impossible to find a haro catalog, in my whole freestyle life (22 years) never seen any of these, in my country it was very rare to see any good bike parts, only few years ago we had the privilege to commerce bikes from other countries, even today import taxes are very high, we pay 60% from the final price of any parts we import.
So a Haro catalog here is a very very hard to find item, if any bmxmuseum member have one of it and can scan and send it to me its a great help too.
