Re: 1992 Auburn CR-20R

I'm not really a collector, but for a while I'd been digging Auburns & this year I'd decided to scratch that itch.
Got a F&F/Bars kit in March. Decent shape. Small ding on the bars, and minor surface rust in the welds on the bars & fork. Paint had it's fair share of scuffs, but was good enough for me to keep as is.
Before:

The surface rust cleaned up quite well with some Navel Jelly. The paint cleaned up pretty good with some elbow grease & polish. Still has it's scuffs, but I had no intention of building it "showroom shiney". More "rider-style" using mildly used parts. The stickers were far gone enough for me to want to replace them. 1992 ones are hard to find, so I grabbed a set of 1st gen reproduction stickers to use "for now". I have to admit, I really prefer the way they look though.

Good choice with the original design decals. I prefer them over all other designs. Was this VonMarks old Auburn?

It may not be exactly a daily rider, but it ain't close to a carpet queen either:
