1982 Mongoose Motomag

Lovin the GOOSE

I finally got a Goose , my first mongoose was purchased back in 1981 it had the same frame as this one but in nickel finish. That bike was stolen of course and i never got over till now. Really stoked how this bike turned out, it all happened quicklywhen i picked up the frame on ebay for $71 US + shipping and within a few months my white goose was done. I sandblasted the frame, forks & had them powdercoated Pearl White, added repro stickers, NOS sugino stem, mongoose grips, shimano brakes, takagi cranks , NOS ukai rims & padset. I've added a couple of variations.

Re: 1982 Mongoose Motomag

Looks really pearly!

I may have to have Lou paint one of my geeses up in white for me.
Saved as a fave.

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets).
Thanks wink
I'm also johnng23604 at "Retro-goose", "VintageBMX" & "RADbmx"

Re: 1982 Mongoose Motomag

Small world, I to had my nickle goose stolen from right outside our house. I was only 6 at the time and needless to say I cried like a 6yr old over it.
Great looking bike, lovin the snap pad set.
