1995 Team Ross 156 Race

Post Bankruptcy Ross/Rand BMX

I actually know little about this bike, all I know is that it is a Ross bike produced after Ross went bankrupt and Rand bought the name. Im guessing that it is between 1991-1995 but I could be way off. There are no pics or info on the web about these bikes so I thought I would post it. I have tried to contact Rand, people who used to work for them and builders who used to work for Ross with no luck. If you know anything about these bikes let me know.

Nice looking ride! I have a Ross Race 158 that I am building. It has similar graphics but the frame is aluminum. No information on the bike either so if you find out anything let me know.

Re: 1995 Team Ross 156 Race

I had a 1984 Ross MX-Time, it was actually a REALLY nice bike for the time.  It had a 100% ishiwata chromoly frame, the downtube gusset and dropouts were exactly like the ones on your bike.  My father worked for a trucking company that shipped for Ross.  At the time (1985-ish) they were based out of Allentown PA.

I knew they went bankrupt, but I'm not sure when that happened.  I'm always looking for mid-80's Ross stuff and it's HARD to find.

Re: 1995 Team Ross 156 Race

Hello! I have a ross team race also. Its 22" and I was wondering what forks you are using? Are they 22" also or are they regular 20" forks?
Help please I want to build this.
Thanks

Well here's the Ross built. Still not sure of forks so I've got robbies on it now and a set of bulletproof coming. It's a great bike.
Any more info?
