1987 Dyno D-Tour
1987 Dyno D-Tour
SOLD - staying in San Diego
Here is my 87 D-Tour that has been in the works for over a year. The f/f, bars and post were picked up locally in San Diego and paint was done by Lou. I knew early on that I would go with white and play off the colors in the decals so I chased the parts here and there for over a year. This was completed the day before the 2010 OSBMX show and I was lucky enough to get the stamp of approval from Dave "The Lord" Voelker himself!!!! (pics of him signing it coming soon) Double props to Vicsta for the sweet photo shoot, he is the MAN! Onto the next build...
Parts Rundown:
F/F, Bars, post - 87 Dyno D-Tour (paint by Lou)
87 OGK Mags
GT Fork Standers
GT Frame Standers
NOS Kashimax "The Handler" seat
NOS Odyssey 2000 brake set (rare yellow)
NOS ODI Mushroom grips
NOS Tioga Comp Pools (20 x 1.75)
NOS Tioga QR seat clamp
NOS Tioga head set
NOS Tioga rotor cups
NOS Tioga Max-Flo rotor
Tioga Freestyle Stem (polished by Charlie Brown)
NOS Tioga sealed bearing set
NOS Tioga Task Force OPC
NOS Tioga CD and Chainring
NOS Tioga Chainring bolts
NOS Tioga pedals
Yellow/chrome chain
Thanks to the 4 guys listed above as well as Koondogg, Relic, GTONE, Chromey, Mattygaff and all others that helped along the way. Hope you enjoy it, Oscar.

Props dude. That bike is beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing on her. The color scheme looks so good. You get a A+ in my book. Just looking at it makes me want to restore something. I hope my next resto looks half as good as yours.

Re: 1987 Dyno D-Tour
Wow Oscar. I'm not a Dyno guy (yet ), but I gotta say, that is one well laid out setup right there. The Tioga Stem/Gyro is sweet. Pretty rare setup to see too. Those tires are just amazing. You really nailed this one.
The white, blue and yellow colors just work so well with each other. It almost reminds me of a C dub I saw one time. Great job bro!!!

Re: 1987 Dyno D-Tour
So I'm shaking my head in amazement as I comb through these photos again. And again. And again. LOVE this bike. SO well done! What a tribute to Voelker, and old school BMX in general. I tip my hat to you with respect Oscar. Helluva build by a helluva guy.
