1994 GT Vertigo

1995 Gt Vertigo.

TYPO IT'S ACTUALLY A 1995 MODEL...I bought this bike new when I was 15. I bought the Vertigo over the Performer because i liked the 48 spoke wheels better than the mags at the time. The sales man at the bike store was trying to talk me out of it and buy a Haro Shredder instead. I never regretted buying the Vetrigo. The first thing I did was change the tires to dirt tires ( I know, I know) Those are still the original tires I bought. They are the correct GT dirt tires for that year. The seat, sprocket and pegs were all replaced that year also, as were the pedals but they aren't GT.

Re: 1994 GT Vertigo

not a big fan of dirt bikes.  freestyles look so much better to me.  i put the dirt tires on because i was doing a lot of off road riding at the time.  i'll get the right tires back on it eventually.

Re: 1994 GT Vertigo

Nice ride man. As much as I love Haro's, I would've picked the Vertigo over the Shredder too. Cool changeout of the forks for the U Brakes. I should do that.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Re: 1994 GT Vertigo

You're correct, it is a 1995. Not sure why it says 1994.  I need to update the pictures too as I restored it back to stock.

Re: 1994 GT Vertigo

Restored it back to mostly stock. I kept the Pitbull brake on the rear for now until I get a new rear cable and I also kept the overdrive sprocket on it because I like it better. I gave the stock seat to my nephew years ago so I guess I need to find another one.
