Stuff you don't see often
NOS Redline Plates
NOS Haro Decals
Having the project is what makes me happy, finishing it isn't something I think about.

Re: Post your rarest piece
I have a few "so called" rare items,
76 extra gusset DeCoster, one of only 4 known that has been found and the only known 100% survivor. Ironically I’ve owned 2 of the four and found them within 3 miles of my house and both from the original owners.
74 Redline Squareback, 136th Redline ever built and 1 of only 637 first gen Squarebacks built in 74 & 75. The Webco stem is probably rarer than the bike itself. And that is my not so rare 76 Squareback in the background.
February 77 extra gusset Mongoose “short" survivor with original MMI’s, February 77 is the last month for the extra gusset and no brake bridge, there are 5 extra gusset January 77’s and only 3 extra gusset February 77’s recorded so far to still exist. One of the Febuary 77’s is the first known to come with MMII’s from the factory.
I use to own this 76 Super-X, 1 of only 3 known to exist. They were poorly designed and all 3 known were broke. This one is currently in the hands of Waza and being restored.
Along with a set of Webco mags, I have this pair of Iverson mags from 1969, they look almost identical to the Webco’s except they were designed for Musclebikes and made of aluminum instead of the magnesium.
I'm looking for a clean 1975 Mongoose (long) frame, and a nice original finish Mongoose Two/Four

WOW!! That is the bike of my dreams, I think this is the only 93/94 Team Model ive seen as well(other than in the catalogs). Thats what ive been tryin to build my 94 PFT up to for 3 years unsuccessfully...
Anyways, here is the rarest bikes ive probably had. Other than the Skyway freestyle prototype I had back in the day, which I unfortunately have no pictures of. I couldnt narrow it down to one of them since they are all equally rare to me.
76 Team Webco
79 JMC Long
81 GT Pro

Diggin` the Krate!!!
Gotta ? about the `76 Super X. Could it be a `75 maybe? This is only a question now, but I`ve seen all the threads about the "Flared" brake bridge on BMX Products bikes and them being `75`s not `76`s. I do not know, thats why I`m asking. Thanks.
Oh BTW, all cool pieces

Re: Post your rarest piece
All good stuff here but this thread seems to have degenerated into something I wasn't expecting. Some nice rare stuff, some not. What I should have said was "Show your rarest item".... not looking for piles of stuff you scored from a bike shop... just the rarest of the rare.

There were two models of the Super-X's built in 75-76, the one like I had which were all mild steel and came with the 75 style seat stay bracket with no hole, no brake bridge, no brake tab and no extra gusset and the other which was basically a Mongoose frame with Super-X decals which had the extra gusset, no brake bridge and some of them didn't have a brake tab. The serial on mine was XL6 xxxxx but one of the others is the oldest known BMX Products frame known to exist with a serial number of 10006 and both frames are identical, even broke in the same place.
I'm looking for a clean 1975 Mongoose (long) frame, and a nice original finish Mongoose Two/Four
