1979 Webco Inc.
Would like to know if this BMX frame is a Webco and its date of manufacture.
Is this BMX frame a Webco? It has a Haro and a Mongoose decal on the frame, the headset and handlebars look like Motomag and the chainwheel is a Sugino Snowflake. The serial numbers are on the left and right dropouts. I would like to know if this frame is a Webco and its date of manufacture.

Re: 1979 Webco Inc.
Sure looks like one. Hard to tell without better pics. My Webco had its serial # on the BB, but Webco did a lot of strange things. I never did figure out what year mine was. My serial # was: 42667 I would guess it as 1977 ish.
Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: CI9 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: 42667. Both were last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA around 1984. $600 reward if found!!

Mine is on the BB,too.i figure it's a '78-ish.Serial#W 52458.if you have a "square"tubing brake bridge and a 1 inch hole in the chainstay block,I'd be inclined to think it's a Webco.

Check for a W on BB serial #! Most all the webcos have a W then the serial # on the BB!

Might be a Fuji MX-500. Does it have a serial number on the dropout. FMB ___
