1998 Mongoose Link

It's pink wink

Here it is now. It was a POS a couple of days ago. I included the before pic. Check it out. I put a lil bit of cash and about 12 hours of love into it. (It needs its Brakes, Chain and Brake Cable put on, but it's basically done) wink

Re: 1998 Mongoose Link

thats the way to bring alittle old school into it!i did somthing simular to the kids 99 performer its orange and black, and the 00 pro performer is white and black.the thing that makes the biggest differance are the tires.their freinds want me to do their bikes up now.if you have a kid you have to let him ride it.

I need an orange chain.

It is what it is!

Re: 1998 Mongoose Link

I saw some crappy Iron rims in a roadside shop a few days ago that look strangely like those you have.
They looked so heavy, and sort of rusty and I didn't see the potential that you evidently did.

Are those steel rims -and are they heavy like an anchor?
Is that just primer and paint, or did you do powder or other more costly color on this bike?

Stuff I want: 2000 24" DB Reactor Team frame ,  Voxom and Enigma stuff. Alliant / Radix stem and stuff.  JW and Stiffys stuff.  Cool late mid-school cruiser parts.
