Dig out your bashguard bikes and let me know! I'm looking for a '91 Mongoose Hooligan, Dyno Slammer 2, '95 Haro Basher, . I'll consider the others too for the right price!

Re: Some eye candy: Haro bashguard Masters in the sun

The rounded back of the bashguard is the 89... for 90 they squared it off a little. I have 2 of the 89's and can't seem to find a 90 that can be afforded...

Yes it is indeed, but I promised myself not to build anymore.  Nice parts are so expensive these days yikes

isn't that the truth!  the few builds i have going now are all "rider condition" because of it (one is an 89 Master)...the few other frames, etc will just be display pieces.

btw - love your masters.  look great!

I was going to ask about the 89/90's haro masters

what is afforded?  I could not sell my 89 (complete bike) for 250.00.
I had only one offer for $125.00 on another '90 F/F and ended up just giving it to a kid for a complex trade that involed rc cars and a pellet gun.  I ASSumed these were haro's that were not desired much.  I know some of you guys get all mushy for them ...but I thought it was just because it was your old bike or the one you never got as a kid or something.

The bashguards themselves seem to draw more calls then the complete bikes .... but if the guard was scratched up they did not want it.  I do come across these once in awhile BUT I only buy them if they have good parts I can salvage for other builds.  I only restore cheapO bikes and TRADE/SELL them cheap and since I no longer ship or accept paypal (why give it away) I know that limits my market for buyers and traders ...but still.

When I see another one I would like to let some of the members know about it. Something about the rules and my lack of membership subscription might get me trouble but I would pm some of you when I see one again and give you the contact info of the sell if interested.

My collection has (2) '89 Masters... but no '90+ ones. I have a bashguard museum in the Immortis office... I think I'm up to something like 12-13 different bashguard frames....
I'm always on the lookout...
