1987 Mongoose Pro Miniscoot 14
1987 Mongoose Pro Miniscoot 14
NOS score!
This is the third PRO miniscoot in my collection but probably my best find yet. I won it on e-bay where it pretty much flew under the radar due to the way it was listed. I stumbled up on the listing with 8 minutes to go and then "stole it" for the price I got it for. Although the box had been opened for pictures, I was the first to unpack it and assembled it for the Gonzo show in 2010. These were only offered in two colors in 87, "Tahiti Blue" and "Coral." Complete with Cheng Shing skin wall freestyle tires and the Spintech system, this is a great scooter. Enjoy!

Re: 1987 Mongoose Pro Miniscoot 14
I've wanted this model for some time. I would love to know how the brake works-as in how well. Sharp!

Thanks bro, the rear drum brake is adjustable for response. They stop on a dime and will throw you over the bars if not careful.

Hey,
If you don't mind, could you tell us just how much you did pay?

Re: 1987 Mongoose Pro Miniscoot 14
Gotta love it when something that's typically bidded on heavily "flies under the radar" due to the wording of the listing. Just got me a 95 GT bmx cruiser frame the same way at a "stolen", only bidder price. YEAH BUDDY!!!! Though I must say you're a quite lickier then me with this find. LOL.
Mongoose/Fusion aluminum bars in pro size. 14" GT Zoot Scoot, Dyno Pretzel Bars and Drain Pipe 22.2mm and Dyno Slammer forks.
I need these, so get at me please.
