2010 Johnny Chopper Crisp

Crisp 'Mean Mother' Custom Retro

In August of 2008 I commissioned Gary from Johnny Chopper, an Australian manufacturer, to make me a replica of my 1993 Crisp 'Mean Mother' which I raced when I was a kid.  Fast forward about 18 months and the project is complete.  I was inspired to go down this route after i took possession of the AZUSA and Nomorea bikes, both made by Supercross, which are retros of 80's bikes.  The geometry is exactly the same as my Supercross EVO S-7 race bike.  I went with new components for the build but still keeping it looking mid school.  The only components that are actually mid school are the JP hubs, Tioga tyres and original Crisp padset & Beyond plate.
The last picture is the original Crisp 'Mean Mother' I owned from 1993 which I have replicated in a modern day way.

Absolutely sick!! yikes  Can't wait to see it with the decals. I'm not a big fan of plain frames.
Just beautiful!

Re: 2010 Johnny Chopper Crisp

That's a wicked ride man. Reminds me of the old Profile bmx bike, and the rear end of this bike also reminds me of the late model Robinson bmx bikes. I'd buy this if you're looking to sell....... big_smile wink
