My childhood bike was actually handed down to me from my older brother. The Motomags were definitely there from the day he bought it. If I remember correctly, my brother personally chose the wheels as a custom option that the store was offering. I've seen a few other Schwinns here w/ Motomags, so I'm guessing this may have been a common option with various bike shops at the time. As for the grips, the bike originally came with the standard type. But I had replaced them with the red cobra type grips when the bike became mine.
I still need a red chainguard, if anyone can help!!
