1999 Haro Master
1999 Haro Master
My favorite mid-school.
Bought frame off fleabay and built it up with modern parts. Was able to locate chrome Ground-zero forks and Kneesaver 2K bars. Used chrome and blue components with red accent brake cables. Bizhouse stem / Profile cranks / Diatech fiesta brakes / Haro wheelset / Haro seat / Haro pedals / DK seatpost / Odyssey frequency G tires / London mod / Lizard Skins grips / Tektro levers. Thanks www.flatlandfuel.com for helping me find many of the parts needed.

Re: 1999 Haro Master
I know this style is not very popular, but its my favorite of the Master series (my first freestyle bike was an 85 Sport). One rear dropout was bent when I got it and so I had to put in a vice grip and give it a little massage to line everything up. Paint and stickers are original.

Re: 1999 Haro Master
Lovely color!I have always liked the master's handling,so I went and got mattfate's M7 frame, and am now a happy camper,I had been searching for years for a modern frame I could ride and fit into,so I kept going back to the morales, which if you thinl about it,was kind of like a haro master,so Im happy now.thanks, chad degroot, for designing it,and matt for setting me up!

Re: 1999 Haro Master
Sweet! I have one too, and I love the bike for an all-around daily rider. Lotta room up front, short back end, but you don't "feel it" when you ride. It's got unique geometry that works beautifully. Yeah, it's a little on the heavy side, but lightness isn't really necessary for this kinda bike! I like it for it's strength.

Nice job on the build! The color really grows on you, doesn't it?
Seeing it in real life in daylight makes a big difference- photos can't do it justice. I've got one in chromolive, and now I'm building one in all chrome.

Re: 1999 Haro Master
Thanks for the comments - I absolutely love the bike. Great frame - a little heavy. The chromolive is awesome in the sun.
