i can understand that....but one mans trash is another mans treasure.

you could have found a ton of torkers to refinish but one with original paint is a lot more rare.

Re: Let's see the REAL bikes... TORKERS!

Here's another thread that shows more pics. I love survivor bikes, but I bought this one with full intention of building it the way I wanted to. If that makes me a loser, well then I'm a loser. The debate to keep survivors, etc, should be in another thread. Post your Torker.

Re: Let's see the REAL bikes... TORKERS!

I actually not only didn't dig Torkers/Mongooses and bike like that...all chrome, and kinda "clunky" since the seventies....I well, REALLY disliked them.
Then, recently a buddy pointed out a 26" Torker, and WOW!!! I really like the idea of a Torker cruiser...the 24" on the bay last week was a consideration...but I had just scored my Cooks a few months back, and my wagon wheel Quadzilla last week...
TORKER CRUZERS ARE SICK!! AL, I really like your 26....a LOT. NICE one!
Carry-on, y'all.

Re: Let's see the REAL bikes... TORKERS!

Thanks guys. It's definitely one of my favorite bikes ever.

I switched out a bunch of parts since these pics. (bars, seat, post etc)
But haven't photographed it properly . I'll add to this thread once I have some decent pics.
