THIS BIKE TOOK ME 2 YEARS TO BUILD THE ONLY THING THAT IS NOT ALUMINUM IS THE HANDLEBARS AND THE CRANK ARMS. BACK IN THE 1980 I REMEMBER HAVING A  PINK 1987 GT PERFORMER DOES WHERE THE DAYS NOW 29 YEARS LATER I HAVE ONE ITS ALL ABOUT LIVING THE DREAM IF YOU BUILD THEM THEY WILL COME....

I bought and built a '99 GT just like that for my wife as a wedding gift.  We were married in '99 so a GT made sense, lol.
