1995 Hoffman Taj

Totally Awesome Jumper,Toads Acoustically Jointed,etc...lol

This is a 1995 taj frame, the only US made version I can remember,in its very 1995ish shade of khaki, this is the predecessor to all other taj frames, and most terrible one barcodes as well.I set it up with mostly era-wise componentry, with dirt jumping and street in mind.
frame:1995 taj one inch headtube
fork:S&M pitchfork, 1 1/8
headset:mix parts of one inch and  1 1/8
stem:redneck 1 1/8
bars:hb low drag(1997 issue)
grips:odi
brakes:tech 77/990/teflon cable/kool stop eagle pads
cranks:gt profiles 175 mm,american BB,
sprocket:odyssey circa 1996 44t
pedals:Primo meat tenderizers 9/16
clamp:gt 1991 power series clamp
post;alloy
seat:selle san marco mtb seat(pretty light)
rear wheel:alex triple wall/joytech sealed 14mm 48 hub/primo wall tire
front wheel:alex supra j rim, primo son of a bomb hub/primo dirt monster tire
as is,this is a really fun bike, reminiscent of the bs days, and the whole mid school essence...

Re: 1995 Hoffman Taj

oh,ok,I get it,you mean, the first ones are the prototype white ones in thje ad,then the second ones are the ones with the allen bolt and no reinforcements, then then these would be the 3rd,all this was in 1995?I remember seeing the ad,and then the two models mentioned in the same year.

Re: 1995 Hoffman Taj

I had a Taj just like that.... redneck stem and patriot bars, just like Taj himself rode for a while.

Re: 1995 Hoffman Taj

the 3rd gens are pretty uncommon mainly because they had such a short span. ive only seen 2 of them(beyond the 3 i saw at the bs finals in 95,one on hoffmans, one on robinsons and one on thornes), the one i own and a green pair that went on the bay a year or 2 ago.... and they went for $20 yikes
