Check out this old footage of Moliterno from the Quad Cities news: I had a TrickStar just like this...

Re: Faveorite rider bitd
You would almost always see Stu`s name on the cover of every mag out there. And he was simply awesome. Ron House is also an honorable mention.
For me though, my faves were Tinker Juarez, Jeff Kosmala and Greg Hill.
Freestyle stuff, Mike Buff and R.L. Osborn.

Re: Faveorite rider bitd
Mike Dominguez was always my favorite. When I was 13, he was the man (at like 16-17)
His battles in the skateparks, AFA and KOV's were legendary. Mat Hoffman would eventually blow him away, but in the day, Mike D was king.
I would just like to say that I apologize. For absolutely nothing at all. HA HA HA

Re: Faveorite rider bitd
I first got interested in riding bmx through eddie fiola,as i read an interview on the nov.1984 issue of bmx plus.then as i defined myself as more of a ground rider, then martin took the board.as rolling tricks came out,r.l. which had an awesome style first made me learn the hang5,even though what he did was a cyborg.chris day rocked too.then Kevin jones appeared and shattered notions of what was humanly possible, and then chase shattered THOSE notions himself.jesse puente and edgar placencia, plus pete brandt and day smith finished rounding out the rider I became, plus perry mervar.Rampwise, hands down aggroman himself, mat hoffman.Joe johnson also rocked, and had he not retired so early, history would have been another.Bmx wise, greg hill had the look, but ronnie was the man!that nut!I remember him in go magazine bunnyhopping a ledge about 4 feet tall, that's bmx!that kid, jason jensen also had a lot of future, what became of him?

Re: Faveorite rider bitd
Lord Voelker was/is definitely a great rider. Brooklyn banks meet the street. That was some wild shite BITD. And was one of the nicest riders that ever came through on tour.
I have to give Wilkerson, Blyther, McCoy, Fiola, Hoffman, Mirra and host of the others a nod as a favorite at one time or another. Mike D. just seemed mythical with 900's and tailwhip flyouts/air attempts. When Mat Hoffman went upside down, riding started to get out of control.(Anybody else miss the old style flair as opposed to the barrel roll?)
I would just like to say that I apologize. For absolutely nothing at all. HA HA HA

Mike Dominguez flat out, that guy got robbed in the 86 king of the skateparks. Guy busts a no-footed can-can and gets beat by Fiola? Come on now, Dominguez ruled.
Mike D - Hands down
Having the project is what makes me happy, finishing it isn't something I think about.

Re: Faveorite rider bitd
It's a shame that only one person put down Kevin Jones. Never had the mag cocerage of a Fiola, but he also rode at a time when there was very little coverage. Simply put, flatland would not be where it is today without him. Obviously, RL, Wilkerson and the bunch are there, but again, if you show a video of KJ to any kid today, he would be blow away. KJ is my vote.
