I have a seat, and i am wanting to remove the logo on the seat, I've already tried paint remover, acetone, hard scrubbing, nail polish remover, and none of them have done much. Any ideas or tips? Thanks!

Any tips on restoring a white dominator mid 80's seat?   I just want to keep it white, but i want to get rid of the rash, clean  it up and keep black dominator logo.  Bleach instead of rit Dye?  Still use salt and crock pot?  I could dye it orange to go with my 1986 Arctic Orange Schwinn Predadtor FrreForm Z it goes on?

The pictures of the finished seat disappeared.  Thought I would post them again.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have heard of people lightly (sand) fine media blasting the textured area of the seat to return texture after repairs have been made. Has anyone tried this method?

Re: Kashimax Seat restoration how to post! Step by step. Check it out!

Has anyone attempted to use paintless dent repair glue to take an impression in order to reproduce the grain in a BMX seat? I saw this Youtube vid where this was done on a car dashboard repair https://youtu.be/85FYd9TjLSI

Was thinking could take an impression using this method from a good part of the seat, heat up the area that needs 're-graining' with a heat gun, then apply the grain pad. My main concern would be that the grain pad will stick to the seat on application once the plastic has been heated up. Otherwise could use a filler putty and apply the pad once it goes tacky, like in the video. Would then have to paint / colour match.
