Nice grocery getter!
My Redline 24" got ripped off from my porch last year so I decide to go one bigger. I found this frameset NOS on ebay and had no choice. The new Fireman cruzers have a bottle opener on the BB and I didn't want that so I jumped on this one. The listing claims that Se Racing built it and I'm not going to argue with that. I wanted to go for a No-School feel and since I like to build my bikes for speed I thought the 2 brakes wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Good looking bike... I'm with you on the can opener gimick... I'd rather have a traditional clean bike with nice welds. How does she ride?
He'll make you wish that you didn't exist...

Re: 2000 Firemans Texas Cruzer 26
Nice build indeed! This was one of the first Looptail Race 26's made for FM by Sal Correa. Yes, Sal still welds ALL of the Firemans frames and forks, right here in the USA. Sal was one of the Old-School welders for SE Racing, and is now running his own shop, and doing the BMX community right, like he has for many decades.
Check out the new additions to the Firemans line-up: The Tall Texan 20", and the Big Al aluminum 26". They were part of a 75 bike delivery in August, 2013, straight from Sal's shop. www.firemansbikes.com
Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.
