2008 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

Bought as a frame only project off of Ed at coloredtuffs.

This is my 2008 Retro Ripper that I had to have. My second race bike was a PK RIPPER that I bought as a frame only project and it was black too way back in 1980.
SOLD!

Re: 2008 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

Are you racing this one? I have a 08 retro I am racing. I have updated some parts, since what it comes with is not what you really want to race on the  track with. It weighed to much. I replaced the rims with some lighter Arayas with Tioga tires, added a cassette hub, some answer Sickle forks, GHP bars, THE seat and AC Hammer outboard bearing cranks. Weighs about 20 lbs and is nice and stiff. I will post this bike soon.  Kept the black and gold scheme as much as possible. I am replacing the gold stem with something lighter than that big block of aluminum and will replace that headset with a chris-king.

Yours look sweet and simple!  Very nice!
