1987 Sterling FS 300..This baby is sweet! Looks great for its age, with original paint and decals.. I did have to replace the tubes and tires, plus grips and pedals.. Cant find these bikes to much any more, but snagged this one up when I got the chance.. Hope you like it..

Re: 1987 Sterling FS-300

My daughter has the 1987  16 inch, Sterling FS100.  I need to get it on here.  Repainted pink, the bike is sweet.

Re: 1987 Sterling FS-300

This would be the bike I had as a child.  My little brother Ronnie took it apart when I wasn't home for a year and when I got back he had sold all the pieces. I had kept mine cherry...it was this exact bike almost down to the tires and color.  Unfortunately, Ronnie got killed soon after we fought and I never forgave myself for that being the last thing we ever talked about before he died.  I loved him so much.....someday, I hope I can get this bike back...or one like it...and rebuild it exactly to the way mine looked as a kid. I could probably never ever afford this bike now but if you ever decide to let it go...please let me know.  I could maybe do payment plans.

Re: 1987 Sterling FS-300

The only difference between yours and my childhood bike is mine had chrome bars and baby blue grips to match the paint.  Also my sprocket was chrome with a smaller white sprocket shape on top.  Other than that....this bike is exactly like my childhood bike.  Love it!

If you are ever up for a trade for any of my bikes...let me know...except the 1995 Haro which was a gift.
