Re: 1989 Haro Team Master Bashguard

Hey 5 thank you for the kind words! I am torn about the stickers as parts of the downtube stickers have been peeled off by preious owners and i was planning on buying repop stickers from teamharo but part of me thinks I should leave it like it is....any comments/advice/opinions will be a help in my decision! Thanks!

very nice biuld. nice collection of parts. the serial number is on fat that turns into a wishbone for the seat stays.when you flip the bike upside down just look at the downtube and follow it to the end after the the seat tube. it is stamped into it.

Re: 1989 Haro Team Master Bashguard

Dave buddy...  you don't want to know what I would do to it...  well, at least all the survivor fans wouldn't want to know.  :D

To me, I see no harm in replacing the decals, some may dissagree...  I honestly would strip it down, and build a red one like teamharo has.  I am not afraid of restoring an original black bike...  black isn't that original.  :)  If you are keeping it as a rider...  I'd leave it.

Such a cool bike the way it is though...  :D

Updated pics the rain stopped!

five the red one Ron Wilkerson rode that was pictured in one of my go magazines is what started me on these you can bet if I redo it it will be RED!!

I feel your pain though, sucks not being able to ride...

Re: 1989 Haro Team Master Bashguard

love it! this was my flatland bike in late 89 early 90, and it was sweet...better handling than the old master for sure, specially with the clean rear dropouts! I loved those forks so much! and the fusion clamp!my old frame must be somewhere out there in the city, I sure hope to get it back one day, last time I swa that bike was 12 years ago, it had gen 1 q bars and power series cranks, so it´s an added bonus:):)
