Re: 1982 Team Apollo

Hey man, lovely bike you got there cool
The Raleigh Aero Pro was a different Tange frame-set with Aero top and down tubes.
This is the same frame as the Tange made Tioga Rhino Charge etc.

Hope that helps smile

Re: 1982 Team Apollo

hi i picked up a anaconda today very sane as your team apollo it seems a german/japan colaberation schaff anaconda tange frame and forks was made for germany and austrailia only , id agree the uk raleigh aero pro does look the same but its not,  the anaconda and the team apollo are on the other hand the same frames im lead to believe , i own a aero pro f+fs and the raleigh uk aero has more ovel tubing were as the team apollo or anaconda tubling is more round also the tubing tapers from the seat post to headset,  the aero tubing stays the same all along the frame , the team apollo or anaconda is also 2" longer and some anacondas have a indentation at the crank to allow for the chain wheel to spin which is rare! my anaconda has this indentation, these are really super top spec tange built pro race bmx and i must say yours looks kool and i cant wait to get stuck into mine!!  lived in oz for a while but had to come home the guinness just anit the same!! LoLs smile

cheers

Monkian is right. The Aero Pro had oval tubes, but this Apollo frame set has Tange written all over it. wink
