2000 GT Show

purchased from doug in 2009, will be restored sometime in the future, for now it is stored at my parents

If you have never seen a 2000 GT Show up close and in person you have got to, call me and i will show you mine, the bike as a whole is a masterpiece, same general design, beautiful craftmanship, but the frame was changed for model year 2000 to allow for smaller gearing, and the "Black Gold Dust" Paint is incredible. Component wise the bike is put together like you'd expect of a bike used by a professional. This frame would be my dialy flatlander for sure, but i only have one so i want to preserve it. am currently sourcing another.

I love these bikes! Hopefully I will be able to get one, eventually.

Re: 2000 GT Show

Nice ride, man. I've been digging this bike lately.

I found one of these online with a "best offer" price on it. How much do you think one of these are worth with all original parts and really good condition?

Re: 2000 GT Show

Great looking bike!  I am sorry for my lack of GT knowledge, but was this made in the USA?

anywhere from 900-1100 for the 2000, the 2000's had different geometry that allowed things like micro gearing, and alot are still being ridden even today, from my experience theres less of these and the 98's than 99's and i think it was definatly the best model year, the paint in person looks insane..

Re: 2000 GT Show

I bought a GT Show Team Issue from Jason Brown last Summer (just before he passed away)- really hard to get used to the small frame size and geometry compared to the old school bikes I used to ride. Once I figure out how to add photos to a post I will get the pics uploaded... :-P
