1983 Skyway T/A

Early Skyway T/A frame. I have recently completed this build with NOS parts.

Skyway TA USA 0000003
NOS Skyway Race bars (previously unmounted)
Skyway padset with 'California Lite' straight bar pad...
NOS Blue/white Oakley B-1B grips
Redline Flight Cranks - freshly rechromed.
Redline chainring - polished.
NOS Titron BearTrap pedals in blue with ultra rare titanium spindles (one of 20 pairs made)
Izumi half-blue chain
NOS chromed UKAI rims
NOS Blue/Red Bullseye hubs
Blue/chrome/polished Pro Neck headset clamp
NOS Tange headset
NOS blue MX1000 brakes
NOS GT layback seatpost
NOS Hutch seatpost clamp (chromed)
NOS Viscount Dominator Pro seat
NOS 1.5 Mitsubishi Comp III tyres

man,you read my mind,thats the same color combo im going for on my t.a build right down to the b1b's!!!!got hutch bars myself and white lightening bolt,early flites,gt layback,chrome arayas with chrome bullesyes,polished tuff neck,its all nos or mint survivor,gonna be ready in may hopefully,its busting my wallet this one!!!!love yours btw,this was the one owned by mr freeze wasnt it??i saw this one on gaybay,great purchase.

Hi there,

Pleased you like it; took me a while to decide on the spec and colour combination (involving heavy discussion with retro_70's), and then even longer to source all of the NOS parts, but it has turned out just as i'd hoped.

markyp - you are correct, this is the 'Freeze' bike that went on the 'Bay over the summer. I couldn't resist such a low serial number, which is partly why i really went to town on the spec for this build.

plymouthfan - will be adding my other bikes on here shortly :D

nice bike...but lower that stem down into the headtube.   

i know you probably wont be riding that much, but that'd be really dangerous to ride it like that.

This Bike is awesome nice T/A for me the most Skyways are overload with too much colours
