Re: 1992 Boss Prime Time
Takes guts to build a Boss in pink but you pulled it off in grand fashion. Nice Job. BTW Hows my old 93 Badboy doing?
Regards,
Matt.

What's Up Andres?? Unfortunately I have not taken her out yet because I'm waiting to take final pics for the calender. As soon as all that is over with she will hit the dirt immediately. Everyone is telling me I can't ride it because it is all brand new but I said F'em. I never build bikes to sit and munch carpet, even my Widow makes it out occasionally.
And Matt your BOSS is still in good hands I debated selling it but reconsidered what's one more bike....

Re: 1992 Boss Prime Time
I agree with you, bosses were built to ride, ride in style, they look good on the show but they look better on the track, nice ride bro!!!
Freestyle and Racing seem to share some sort of code, code 4130

Re: 1992 Boss Prime Time
The Purple anodized VG cam was a must since I was running Purple, White, and Pink everywhere else. Plus it looks good and functions way better.....
Thanks bixia22

Re: 1992 Boss Prime Time
have a look at my boss, I have been using the VG as a cam ever sense I bought it in 93. I have a black VG that I used before I updated it with the orange stuff. I am not even sure what that VG part was made to do, I alway thought it was for the brake cam.
looking for first gen bullseye pedals, reissued OK, or Bob Reedy 2007 reissued pedals by helix.

The VG Cam was machined for exactly the purpose we are using it for. You can run the cable to the bottom portion of the cam to eliminate the cable blocking the VG logo....
VG was based less than 3 miles from my house in Morgan Hill, Wish they still machined parts TODAY!!!!

Re: 1992 Boss Prime Time
I also have it running under the bottom of the cam, but then have it go back thru the second hole of the cam so that it rest on the top. I didn't like the end of the cable under the cam, it got in the way of the block, unless I cut it very short. I like to have some room left on the cable incase I change brake pads, and need to move it. I have never stop riding this bike sense I bought it, although now that I have got some new school bikes, I mostly ride them, better to do manuals on, and much lighter. I will always be proud of my boss, but it may be comming close to retiring, once that happen, I will repaint and put on the decals.
By the way, I can not find my down tub decal, and I see you had some made. Can I get with your guy who made yours for you. I don't want custom colors, just the standard yellow with a black shadow. Did is cost alot of $$$?

Re: 1992 Boss Prime Time
Its my fault, always my fault, even when someone else is the issue its my fault. If I type something its an attack, and I am always in the wrong, no matter the truth or the facts, if I am posting I must be starting something and I am for sure in the wrong.
