1981 Torker 26

This is the bike that I thought I would never find. I wanted one of these for years, but with the limited production numbers, (200-400), the odds of finding one were slim to none....I won't even speculate on how many are left in this condition...but there can't be more than a handful.
This frame and fork is as close to NOS as you will find.....The original owner bought her new and built her up once about 10 years ago. The chrome and decals are original and in awesome condition. The drop outs are flawless...every weld is crisp, clean and distinct... not that "chromed over" look you get from re-plating. The "show chrome" finish sparkles as bright as the day she left the factory.
Every part on this bike has original finish. Color combinations are somewhat limited due to the big yellow decals......so I stuck with the head badge theme and salted in some red components. I scored a set of NOS pads for her and now she is complete. This bike brings the "BLING" heavy in  person....my camera really doesn't do her any justice.
Parts:
'81 Torker 26" Cruiser frame and fork (ALL OG CHROME AND DECALS)
Araya 7X w/ Bullseye bolt-thru hubs and DT SWISS STAINLESS SPOKES
NOS BULL DOG STAMPED PRO NECK
First Gen GT CRUISER BARS...Very Clean
Dia Comp Mx 1000's in chrome....Very Clean
NOS HATTA head set
NOS  Elina Lightning Bolt Seat
NOS Dia Comp seat post clamp in gold
NOS MAXY CROSS CRANKS
NOS KKT LIGHTNINGS
NOS OAKLEY F-1's
NOS Skyway Pro-Pads in gold anno
SUGINO 41 T CHAIN RING
NOS SE Seat post
NOS TORKER VINYL FRAME PAD W/USED HANDLEBAR PAD
NOS BULLSEYE bottom bracket in Red
26 x 2.125 HW Fong skin walls......generic...but are perfect for cruising around CHI Town!

Top job! you've nailed it. The colour combination is sweet, and the components are proper OS, great choices, job well done.

Dude...you bike is very cool. I love the combination of different high-end parts. Thats the way I used to build them back in the early eighties!

So sweet. Awesome job
