Denim
Old hifi but not really vintage hifi on a deep level. However I am a DLK diehard. I love late 90s/early 00 hifi, particularly all the tongue kissing between Denon and Panasonic. Also the Marantz units that used Scorpion dac's. LD mostly for the obscure widescreens. With those I have the Panny lx900 and the Denon la3500. I missed out on acquiring the Quasar one about 5 years ago. I die a little inside when I recall that.
I've had aquariums for decades but now I'm very happy with my l. Brichardi in a simple tank.

I like to make lamps out of random interesting things. I made this today.
I grabbed this lab bell jar from the dumpster pile when we shut the lab down.
It was never even used.

Thanks man. Funny thing is, that bell jar was expensive as hell, and the Director of Research insisted on getting it.
I relented, and procured it. That thing sat on the shelf unused for three years. Pissed me off. Lab budgets, you know?
He lost his job, his lab was dismantled, and this was getting junked.

Great score, project! I bet it was expensive with the stuff mounted to it and it probably has to be special made.
If you hadn't of caught it, it would have been a total waste of money. We live on such a wasteful planet.. I do like outside of the box projects/creations like that and it means that you're using what's between your ears..
