Very, very sweet! The STR bars look insanely mint too! Nice job indeed man. Any plans to run a pott's mod for the front brake?

Re: 1984 Redline Prostyler

Thanks guys, I remember the advert BITD and always wanted one. No plans for a potts mod, it does have the cable guides on the back of the fork, just wanted to keep it as it looked in the advert. I might put a black kashi on it one day too.

Re: 1984 Redline Prostyler

1st off - Awesome bike! The main thing that gets my attention though, is the fact that you had this advertisement that you probably looked at over and over when you were younger, thinking of what it'd be like to own this bike. Even after much time and plenty of forgotten things from your mind, you never forgot about that specific advertisement that you stared at so many times from multiple magazines.
While jealous of your ability to build this bike, I also am impressed & inspired by your desire, drive & dedication to turn that once day-dreamed bike into a reality!
Maybe you should now re-create the ad with yourself in the picture rather than R.L. Osbourn!
