Re: 1983 CW Racing Phaze 1

Thanks Bro!  I still got the "CDUB".
I put some old school diamondback 3 piece cranks on it recently. Had them stripped down and re-chromed. Sick lookin. Still runnin the Suntour XC-II pedals, always liked them because they look like they can eat your shins. Talk to ya.

Re: 1983 CW Racing Phaze 1

The center to center measures exactly 19". Not really sure how the measurement is supposed to be taken. The longer CW's were the ZX and the ZXL. We're talking like 20"-21". I know the ZX pro was 21.2". The Phase one is an "Expert" Frame and was kinda short. Good for the younger 14-15 year old expert class. Hope that helps!!!!!!!!

Re: 1983 CW Racing Phaze 1

Thanks man, I thought they looked about 19", I wish CW could make the Phaze 1 frames in 20 and 21 inch frames again, like they started in 2012...their site seems to not sell them anymore..

Re: 1983 CW Racing Phaze 1

I have this frame !! it was my brothers who did some BMX racing back in the early 80's, I know he spent a boatload of money on it back then and I also know there were only about 200 of them made, I wonder what its worth now?? and if there is anyone out there looking to get one if it were for sale?
