1984 Haro Master

3rd gen Master

I recently picked this up literally a few miles away from me from the original owner. No cracks or re-welds, just rust. Still has most of the original parts-Tuff IIs, Forklifter, MKS Graphites, Sugino CTs, MX 1000, DC seatpost clamp, etc. Swapped on Skyway f/s bars. Undecided plans, I will clean it up but I love the survivor look!

Re: 1984 Haro Master

Thanks for the compliments. I'm gonna fix it up good enough to use as a survivor rider.

Re: 1984 Haro Master

It is sweet but is it an 84?  I did not think they had masters in 84 just the freestyler?  but I am not a haro expert.  I like it anyway no matter what year. Build it and ride it:)

In '82 and '83 Haro had the Freestyler, and in '84 there were 3 generations of the Master. Gen 1 and 2 were both made in the USA by Torker, and the 3rd gen (late '84) was made in Taiwan by Anlun. All 3 had slight differences in the frame/stickers.

See i don't want to hear from people that tell me success is easy, i want to hear from the people who fought it out, who went all twelve rounds with life and got to the other side.

Re: 1984 Haro Master

That's a cracking looking haro , You can't beat the real deal , there's no greater feeling in collecting old school Bmx then finding a survivor ????????

if your doing what you want you miss nothing
