I remember The Alien. It was either that or Stretch Monster......I opted for Stretch Monster. Had it for about a month, my Brother's retarded friend dropped it and all the jelly leaked out. I was soo pissed !! yikes

Re: 80s TOYS!

The thing about the alien was that the "5th" spike on its back was always missing, it always fell out. And the inner teeth were broken. Plus the dome was cracked.

Re: 80s TOYS!

Here's my vintage 1970 Tonka 2585 Hydraulic Dump Truck I won off ebay.
Very desireable Tonka toy. You dont see many left in good shape with box. This one was barely played with, hence the condition. There are no significant dents or dings or rust.  It was obviously either well-loved or significantly neglected. The 2585 also came in red. Made in U.S.A. Pressed Steel.

Re: 80s TOYS!

Tim -- dude, I got Stretch Monster as a present one year.  My older brothers found that damned jelly (or "syrup", as we called it) in under 24 hours.  Never got to play with it even once! mad  One Xmas, those sons of bitches also put my Metal Men on the 24 hour plan...
