Re: Thruster
Does anybody know about serial numbers on Thrusters? I have 2 Vanishing Point's. 1 has a Euro bottom bracket with no serial number, curved brake bridge. The other has an American bottom bracket with a serial number T-0001.

Re: Thruster
Hey dude. I lost track of those guys before I moved to Ohio, as their family had some problems and they moved out of my neighborhood. Then, unfortunately, I moved. I did find them on Facebook, and even though I don't have one, I might try to contact them somehow. When I remember hanging out with them, only the oldest brother still had some bikes. To the best of my remembrance, Thruster was made by Speed Unlimited out of Wayne. I'm not sure they had manufacturing facilities there, and I think the Thrusters were welded by the people that some other brands together too.

Re: Thruster
here is mine as shown at the philly ride. it is my rider currently, so it has double pinch flights and mks graphite copies for pedals. everything else is era correct though. i found the correct forks that day. in fact, you can see guy disassembling the bike to sell me the frame and fork in the background! the forks are powdered to match the frame and i got the decals, all i need now is fork decals and probably switch the cranks and put on some suntour xc-II's as well. also going with black powdered bars. still gonna be a rider though for sure. i will probably offer the other frame up on here soon. chrome survivor with og red decals. big thanks to chip at C4!

Re: Thruster
Von Mark -It's a vanishing point from my understanding. i would have to talk to someone in the know, but the top tube i believe is identical to the vanishing point. it had decals on it, but the ones on the upper chain stays were removed when i got it. if anyone has some fork decals, "ultrahive" is trying to get some to scan. he would scan them and send them right back to you. he would probably give you a free set for your troubles too. pm me if anyone has clean fork decals. also, pm if you are interested in a chrome og survivor with red decals vanishing point.

Re: Thruster
That's the first Thruster I've seen with a serial #. I would normally say Thrusters don't have serial #s, but there's one for all to see.
JB Replicas and earlier Vanishing Points with the noodle brake bridge are identical other than the decals. The later ones with flat "T" brake bridge would be Vanishing Point.

Thrusters get serial numbers around 82 or so. they start with ''t'' round brake bridge is earlier, like 81 down.
