1984 CW Racing ZXL
1984 CW Racing ZXL
Colorado Survivor
Just pieced this together from a couple of well-preserved survivors. The frame is a CW ZXL. Very nice original chrome. Other parts include CW pro bars, Dia Compe MX 1000 rear brakes, 1st generation DK stem, Ukai (1.5Γ’β¬Β) rims with Suntour sealed hubs, SR seat post clamp, Redline 401 full-wrap cranks with an early bubble font sprocket, and Suntour XC II pedals. Other parts include repop Tioga Compe IIIs, new Ame Tri grips and a NOS Dominator seat. Rides great!

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness............-Emo Philips πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ

That top tube looks looooooong. Geometry resembles a pistol pete with the seat tube angle.

It is. Just about 21". I've been told this model later became the Pistol Pete...good eye.

The Pete has different geometry, but it did replace the zxl in the line-up
sweet bike dude, how do you like riding it?
I might not deliver when I say I will, but when I do it's always right on time.

Love to see the Flights on your bikes!!! Really, is there a better old school crank?? Just got a NOS for my Floval build project. You certainly have a talent for building and restoring bikes T. I am very, very impressed. Just wish we would of stayed in touch. Who knew are passion for bikes would of lasted 20 years after school. Thumbs up man......
