1990 GT Performer

as a kid, my very first brand new bike

this is a near nos gt survivor. i replaced the grips and tires with original equipment, the rest is as it came. when i got mine as a kid, it was hands down the most expensive thing i'd ever had. i babied that thing, washed it, waxed it, loved it. eventually the top tube cracked and the frame was replaced under warranty with a black 93 PFT frame. that ruined it and drove me to replace the rest of the parts forever making me prefer a  "custom" bike. it really is a blast to ride, the bars are huge, the mags feel like riding on a trampoline and the seat really hurts, fond memories!

"This should be a no brainer guys. If you think the wife would disagree with the bike/price tell her "Honey, I bought this for you. I LUUVVVV you...". And then proceed to put it with your other bikes and tell her she can never ride it. lol"

Re: 1990 GT Performer

Looks great, I love the colors on a Performer. Reminds me a-lot of a Mongoose decade, another favorite of mine.
