1979 Mongoose Minigoose
A 70's nickel mongoose in miniature !
I'm a big fan of the minigoose as I had an '81 minigoose as a kid (which I'm currently building a replica of), so when a '79 frame popped up I had to add it to the collection !
Tried to keep the bike as era correct and mongoose stock as possible as I hunted for parts (with a few little touches here and there). The steel tuffs are in lovely condition, the vinyl pads with the correct shorty frame pad where NOS ! and many of the other parts I sourced where NOS too including the ashtabula forks and crank, the union rat traps and the oury grips.
Hope you like it - it's one of my faves.

Man, you did a very nice job on that one... Hands down the best mongoose mini I've ever seen.

No this is a '79 my daughters is an '81 - still got both
Got another 2 minis on the horizon but they'll take a while........
One is another '81 - taking my time with this as it's the replica of my original bike from back in the day
The other is an '84 "cali-style" looptail minigoose - both will be completed some time next year - watch this space
