1983 CW Racing TFM 24

A "so called" mini, built to be large.

I started racing again this year, after a 23 year hiatus with this killer CW TFM, the same model as I had in the old days.  An old friend had this one in his basement for 20+ years, I souped it up with some parts I had lying around in my parent's basement (CW Pro bars with Oakley B1B's, Hutch deep H stem, MCS seat post).  It came with the Triton pedals, Ukai chrome rims w/ Suzue sealed hubs, SR cranks & comp III's.
There are a lot of local BMX fans who root for me for the sake of "old school".  One guy told me he was waiting for it to collapse after the gate (I don't think so!).  The background on the 1st photo is the track I built in my front yard for me and my boys (yeah, my wife is pretty cool).  Here's a good review of the bike back in '83

You have some sweet parts on this bike. It's cool you have her out on the track competing again. It looks sweet. The geometry of this frame looks to be the inspiration for most of the new school frames you see today. Looking at yours makes me want to get one. ;)
