1983 Kuwahara 24

It took me a year to build this one up.

I went with the same color scheme as my 1981 KZ1, Black & Red. Parts include original F/F. These are all the NOS goodies. Red anno Dia Compe hinged seatpost clamp, red anno flutted seatpost, red anno Pro Neck, red Oakley B-2 grips with black doughnuts, red anno Hatta headset, red anno Dia Compe MX 900's with Tech 3 lever, rare red anno 24x2.25 Ukai Speedlines with Sushine sealed bearing(Cook Bros style) flip flop hubs and black spokes with Compe III fat, skinny combo copies, Bullseye red anodised pedals with a black cages, black anodised Pro Neck 40 tooth chainring. Non NOS but damn close is the black Kashimax seat, rare Kuwahara Cruiser bars, red anno Maxy Cross 170's, and rare red anno Bullseye sealed bottom bracket. This is one of my favorite color combo's. You don't see too many Kuwy Cruisers around. Let me know what you think.

Absolutely briliant color combo. Looks sweet!
Double thick dropouts? Never seen that on a Kuwi before.

Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: CI9 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: 42667. Both were last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA around 1984. $600 reward if found!!
