Re: 1983 GT Pro

Beautiful! The GT's of then are just that, then. I remember when GT was a high end BMX company, unlike now, how they're sold in department stores and sporting stores. Restoring old school BMX bikes is analogous to how people restore muscle cars.

Re: 1983 GT Pro

Just seeing how sweet that looks reminds me how I felt when I first saw my gt back in 81.Nothing short of smashing out the front window and taking it was going to stop me from having it.Love at first site.My 81 replacement I have now isnt quite as nice but hope it will be in the future.Great job and awesome photo shoot.

Re: 1983 GT Pro

You have set the standard for all of my resto's and future builds.  Impeccable!

Lookin for:  9/16" DX's in gold rougher the better...  Dirtbike with standing platform, Menstrual cycles decals...  Need one Blue anno Ukai speedline shinny side rider condish and straight.

Re: 1983 GT Pro

The bike is absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations. I was also wondering if this was shot in studio or if the background is photoshoped?

Re: 1983 GT Pro

Sorry for the delay in responding to this:

It was shot in a studio by a gentleman specializing in product photography.

Re: 1983 GT Pro

You have a good memory.  That bike is awesome.  I used to race a GT like that one, too.  I like your color combo, well done.
