Nice bike, very nice bike.  I wish some of the other people had an opportunity to shoot their bikes in a key.  I think it brings out the best in a bike.  Keep'em coming and I will definitely check them out.

Re: 1983 SE Racing Quadangle

Beautiful bike and very striking photos. What's with the brake cable going down one of the downtubes? Does it have lower brakemounts like the 90's Flovals?

the 83 quads do not have lower brake mounts. the cable is run between the down tubes and top tube and allong the side of the top tube . to the rear brakes.  hopefully that answers your question.

and great bike one of my favorite quads

actually flyin squirrel is right the second pic (close up ) shows the cable going down the bottom tube towards the BB, but in the other pics its going along the top tube.... maybe a pic prior to the finish?

Re: 1983 SE Racing Quadangle

Sorry for the nearly 2-year delay in answering you flyin' squirrel.....yes, in that close-up picturw, the brake cable is being manually held there as the picture was taken. I wanted one picture that focused on the unique tubing of the quadangle, so I chose to hold the brake cable out of the way (but as mentioned, you can still see it).

I liked that picture so much, I used it for Christmas cards one year. Ha ha
