Re: 1994 GT Performer
New member.
I have owned this exact bike since 1994. I don't know what posessed me to do it but I took off all the stickers.
I've started a collection and figure restoring MY actual ride is long overdue.
Can anyone point me in the direction of these stickers? I need the entire set.
Big thanks in advance!

Re: 1994 GT Performer
you will never find original's, your best bet is to contact beast44k on this site and see if he can make you reproduction one's.

Re: 1994 GT Performer
I had one in this color scheme. I bought it as a frame and fork from some guy off of craigslist about a year and a half ago. I was so thrilled to see the frame in real life that I bought it without even looking for the serial number. When I got home I realized that it had been filed off. After feeling weird about it for a while I put about three different bikes of parts into it and I had every single piece of the bike back to original. Someone ripped the performer decal off before I got it. An eccentricity It had was the threads on the fork were stripped where the top plate of the gyro could spin all the way around. I know this wasn't yours because the decals were placed higher up on the fork. I rode the bike to class one day and when class was over the bike was gone. Someone cut through the lock and took it in plain sight in front of at least 20 passers by. That bike sent me to the hospital and it was the only bike I ever crashed that hard. I crashed it a couple of times for reasons that seemed unclear to me. I think the frame and fork were cursed. Even if it wasn't it sure had a weird vibe. It had probably been built up, stolen, and resold half a dozen times before I got it. I have a feeling I'm not the only person it injured. I tried to post the bike on here but I couldn't because I didn't know the serial number. I still wonder where that bike is now. It crosses my mind regularly.

Sounds like you owned the Christine of bikes! Nice bike, sorry to hear of it's theft. I agree, the black ones do look awesome when they are clean.
Cool, a new bike. Wait a minute.......where am I going to hide this one. She's going to catch me...

Re: 1994 GT Performer
I bought this 94 GT Performer about a year ago, I had to strip the paint off and re-paint it in gloss black. I didn't want the original decals and wanted something simple but after a year I guess I was wrong. Try to find a close match of the original decals.
