Re: 2007 SE Racing Quadangle

Thank you for the kind comments.  The bike is completely custom, the frames only come in SE Racing blue from the factory, so I had it stripped and dipped by a local chromers.  All the parts were powder coated by a local Coaters.

I have built a few retro looking bikes in the past and have always used some old school parts to acheive the look.  This time however I wanted to use only new and up to date parts to acheive the same look.  I have to admit I am very happy with the finished article.

Re: 2007 SE Racing Quadangle

To be honest I knew what I was going to do to the bike when the announced it last year, it was then a case of finding the parts I wanted to go on the bike and sorting the colour scheme so it was understated, not too over the top.  My favourite find are the rims, they are built for cyclo trials bikes (double skinned but light as hell), who use a 20" on the front and 19" on the rear.

The serial number is:  QUAD07-099.

Re: 2007 SE Racing Quadangle

Thnks for the kind comments on my Quad guys.

As for the decals, I carefully removed the decals that were on the frame.  I removed them by heating them with the wifes hairdryer and peeling them off slowly.  Once removed I stored them on a mirror until I needed them again, this way they stuck on the chrome frame without the need for adding adhesive.

Re: 2007 SE Racing Quadangle

That is a sweet tip on removing the decals! And a sweet bike also. I have the 07 quad and would love a custom color! But your chrome quad is sick!!! Great bike!!!!!!!

Re: 2007 SE Racing Quadangle

I have checked out most of your bikes you have on the museum, and you basically have an incredible museum of your own! This is definitely my favorite Quad I have ever seen. The chrome sets it apart and the components & color combo is perfect. So clean - another awesome job
