Miss my old custom 2007 STA The guy I sold it to here just sold it on Ebay a few months ago. I missed bidding on it because I was travelling:(  Anyone here buy it? It had a 19.5" TT with extremely cut/slammed dropouts.http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/17430/0fe67046-1f07-4877-ad0d-93db59fabb8d5c61037f61.jpeg

Thanks Joe!  Lots of chrome/polished bits basically.

  • Resinator 20.625 Frame (obviously)
  • SBC Forks with brake mounts in black
  • Chrome Aerospace hoops with polished hubs and silver spokes
  • Tires, undecided
  • Chrome Calibur cranks w/ a polished 28t of some sort
  • Chrome Street Treat bars that I love to death
  • Chrome Evo II's and polished levers
  • Polished post, maybe Thomson with S&M shield repop seat or LJ with convertible guts
  • You get the idea...

I like the dual cable routing , looks like a stump seat post is the only option. Post a pic of the brake cables exiting the seat mast when your at that point I`m curious smilecool

Will do!  The cable routing intrigues me as well and hopefully I'll have forks in 2-3 weeks so I can start putting it together.

Here`s what you get when you match two NOS pegs with two Excellent pegs !!! A set of killer original black anodized aluminum hand grenades. big_smile I`m still looking for two more in red anodize and a full set of four in natural aluminum.

I got one.  custom 20 3/8" tt painted custom shocker brass.  (imagine trans Mt dew color).  I was all about the dual cable routing but it is not as efficient as a regular london mod. i had to set my spring tension much higher than i'd like to get them to pull back. super responsive and very light though.  i use it for techy street and flatland.  mounted an ody flatware 16mm offset fork.

Love the color of that frame!  I'm hoping I can get to mine soon, just waiting on forks from SBC which shouldn't be too much longer.  If I find a better way to deal with the brakes, I'll definitely let you know.

Some fine Standards in this thread!

What's the story with the Standard stems, limited runs every couple of years?
