1988 GT JR Performer 16

true Survivor!!!

well my two year search for a nicely priced Jr Performer is over!!! found this on Craigslist listed for $10 with a couple other newer kids bikes, 2 hour drive round trip and now shes in my pit stable, haha, stickers and paint look amazing for being 21 years old

bike rides like new too!

only thing im gonna swap out  are the rims for mags

I love this thing, have to find one like this to match my 20"! Awesomest little thing ever!

Re: 1988 GT JR Performer 16

What size sprocket on these typically? 36T? I wonder if that would be a tough find?

Re: 1988 GT JR Performer 16

Damn. That's what I figured. It's not even for a real junior, so I would feel bad wasting one on it

Re: 1988 GT JR Performer 16

Paint looks great on that! I had a 90 performer in that color...I believe it's magenta. Never see anybody do restorations in that color. I'm curious if anyone has even matched that color. Anyway sweet performer!

Re: 1988 GT JR Performer 16

Wow, looks great! Awesome find.

I am picking up a complete okay condition JR Performer this Saturday. Any chance you can help me on what I should look for to be sure it's a legit and not a copy (serial number)? Thanks. I am getting it for my 4 year old son with plans to restomod it.
