Re: SOLID BIKE CO. thread-throw your Solid's up here!!!
Felt the need to represent today...
When I got my KM frame it was raw steel with a bag of stickers. While I had seen Dukes and Wasps previously, I had never seen a Killing Machine, so had no reference for sticker placement Hope you like my original sticker locations from 2004.... this bike survived the Camp Fire because it was sitting at my LBS that week. Killing Machine downtube stickers in my desk at home did not survive...
The rust, I know... I'm working on it. May have to do the diesel fuel soak?
Super thanks to Lg1 and Bickle for the help!

If anyone has a spare solid stem they’d like to sell please hit me up. I missed out on getting one when they released the last front load batch.

The next batch should be soon, say 1-97 weeks
No, Aaron said it should be soon though, caps were in engraving last week or so

Re: SOLID BIKE CO. thread-throw your Solid's up here!!!
Reviving the thread with a trade request: Looking to trade my black Solid Top load stem with silver engraving (brand new, never mounted, matches the stem at the bottom of the photo) for the raw version. Let me know. Thanks.

Re: SOLID BIKE CO. thread-throw your Solid's up here!!!
Ah, finally, all set up and photos to prove it This is my old whip, improved to be pretty close to a dream build for me-- always wanted the 1" cranks. The new sprockets are great (bent my 3 bird sprocket). Original polished stem. Original top headset (cane creek prototype lower). 2004 Killing Machine. But, I just have a throwaway handlebar on there for now. This is my daily driver! Rideable with the taller bars and larger tires. Haven't run pegs in 10 years or so, either. So those are cool to have again
